The work exhibited at the unique MAP exhibition space (Hope House Gallery) ranges from community arts projects right through to professional exhibitions from well respected artists.

Exhibitions featuring the work of participants in our educational projects at MAP take priority. The gallery gives our students the exciting opportunity to present their work to friends, family and the general public.

Artists from all cultures and backgrounds are also invited to show their work. MAP primarily (but not exclusively) supports and promotes artists with learning, mental or physical disabilities and/or from disadvantaged or Black, Minority and Ethnic (BME) communities.

As many traditional art galleries are, by their nature, inclined towards white, western art we feel that this provides a valuable resource to the wider arts community in Leeds.

Professional artists who exhibit their work at the MAP exhibition space (Hope House Gallery) are invited to provide a workshop/seminar about their work and practice to the young people and volunteers at MAP.
