Schools generally refer students to us when they feel that a student doesn't cope well in a busy classroom environment and that the student has a general interest in music or art (these are not qualifying factors, but they are the most common).

Often, students that come to MAP leave with a widened range of skills, both creative and social, and with the confidence to progress into Further Education.

We currently take referrals from Education Leeds, Pupil Referral Units and individual schools, but we are happy to discuss referrals with other agencies.

All MAP staff are experienced and qualified in working with young people through a range of issues, from persistent non-attendance to emotional and behavioural disorders. We take a holistic approach, providing alternative arts education whilst encouraging personal and individual development.
